NEW Opportunity for A Qualified Accountant To Join A Prestigious Sutton Based Firm of Accountants In A Unique Forensic Accountant Role

Do you have an accountancy qualification with some post-qualification experience of auditing SME or Owner/Manager businesses?

Our client is an expanding 10 Partner Sutton based Accountancy Practice dedicated to ensuring their clients achieve their goals and providing a 1st class level of client support & service. They are also specialists in insolvency with a separate insolvency division and they are currently looking to recruit a Qualified Accountant in order to increase the offering our client can provide for insolvency cases that may be more contentious than standard and require more in depth/forensic investigation into the accounts relating to the case.

Our client is therefore looking to employ a candidate with an accountancy qualification and ideally a few years post-qualification experience of auditing SME or Owner/Manager businesses who have either already made the switch from accountancy OR someone looking to make a change and who would relish the opportunity of this unique role

In the early stages of this newly created role this position would not have a team initially to manage, but this may and is likely change over time so some managerial experience would be an advantage and a summary of duties appear below:-

Manage a portfolio of contentious insolvency cases.

Undertake detailed analysis of complex financial data.

Respond to claims and enquiries from creditors, liquidators, and other stakeholders.

Provide guidance and expertise on contentious cases to the rest of the insolvency team.
