Band 6 CPN for Forensic Community Service – F.I.R.S.TBirmingham and Solihull Mental Health NHS Foundation Trust
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated qualified CPN to join our continuing developing team FIRST, working with Men and Women leaving Secure Inpatient Services.
We are looking for an individual who has a range of experiences in Mental Health settings and is committed to supporting service users with complex needs through the secure care pathway. The successful applicant will have experience of working with a wide range of individuals and be able to demonstrate an understanding and awareness of the criminal justice system and its impact on individuals that use our services. You will be able to work with other members of the team in managing an individual caseload, working within the confines of a robust care plan that meets the individual needs whilst managing any risk factors for the individual or others.
Main duties of the job
The team is recovery focused and you will be supported via a bespoke training package to work alongside service users as they maintain meaningful and purposeful lives in their local communities. We are a busy multidisciplinary team with a mixed caseload of males and female service users with complex mental health needs.
The successful applicant will be supported to develop their professional interests in line with the Team objectives .The team benefits from both regular reflective practice sessions, and shared formulations sessions alongside the mandatory clinical supervision.
