Derbyshire Constabulary are looking to recruit a Quality and Performance Officer to join the Quality Team.
The post will be responsible for assisting the forensic units across the East Midlands region with gaining and maintaining accreditation to ISO 17025, ISO 17020 and the FSR Codes of Practice.
This will include working closely with the forensic units to implement the required quality management system, maintain these systems and participate in annual accreditation audits.
It is expected that you will have experience of working in a 17025/17020 accredited environment and have an understanding of the requirements for accreditation. Ideally you will have experience of performing internal audits and will have previously participated in UKAS audits.
You will have strong administrative skills and as the role includes travelling to forensic units across the East Midlands region, you must have a driving licence and own car. Experience in a forensic discipline, while desirable, is not essential.
The post is Monday to Friday, 37 hours per week, though part time/job share will be considered.
While the post is employed by Derbyshire Constabulary, the role involves a mix of office working (Nottingham), working from home and visiting units and so would be suitable for candidates across the East Midlands region (Derby, Nottingham, Lincolnshire, Leicestershire and Northants)
