A Band 8b clinical/counselling psychologist is needed in a specialist NHS forensic service based in east london NHS foundation trust. The post is available to start From ASAP to 25/12/2024 , and the trust are offering full-time hours per week for an ongoing period.
The Psychologist in the post will provide a comprehensive, specialist psychological therapy service to patients of the Health and Justice Services Directorate as well as provide specialist psychological assessment and therapy to patients within the service. The postholder will specialist psychological assessments of clients, based upon the appropriate use, interpretation, and integration of complex data from a variety of sources including psychological and neuropsychological tests, self-report measures, rating scales, direct and indirect structured observations and semi-structured interviews with clients, family members and others involved in the client’s care.
To be considered for this role, you must:
- Hold a relevant qualification at the doctorate level
- Be HCPC Registered
- Have experience working within a similar setting
- Have strong communication and listening skills
