Job Family: Technology Consulting Travel Required: Upto 25% Clearance Required: None – This requisition has been postedfor the purpose of pipelining building relationships with qualifiedcandidates in order to potentially hire them into future openingswithin FFI – Technology. – FFI Technology is currently proactivelygathering and engaging candidates of interest and will then be ableto match them with positions that become available in the future.What You Will Do: – Work on technical teams that guide clientsthrough the selection, implementation, testing, andcalibration/tuning of financial crime compliance technologysolutions, covering transaction monitoring, sanctions compliance,KYC/CDD, blockchain analysis, and fraud prevention solutions. -Work on technical projects that evaluate, test and review thesupporting documentation for the selection and implementation ofBSA/AML and sanctions technology solutions, including the selectionof detection scenarios and determination of scenario thresholds andname matching algorithms. – Identify, research, and organizeelectronic information to assess the appropriateness andsufficiency of data to facilitate effective analysis. – Identifythe relationships among multiple sources and types of informationto identify duplicates, understand data flow, interrogate data, andidentify patterns. – Analyze and interpret historical financial,operational, and transactional data. – Prepare reports, writtenanalyses, quantitative exhibits, and other client deliverableregarding project and/or results of work performed. – Maintaindetailed working records reflecting assumptions, methodologies, andinformation sources employed during the performance of allanalytical tasks. – Participate in client meetings to reviewresults of work performed. – Maintain professional image within thecompany and project the same to those outside of the company. WhatYou Will Need: – Able and willing to relocate to either the NYC orDC area at own expense if not currently based there. – Able andwilling to come into Guidehouse’s NYC or DC office for internalmeetings and work at clients’ locations when required. – Be locateda commutable distance from either Guidehouse’s NYC or DC office andbe willing and able to have a hybrid work arrangement (i.e.,working both remotely from home and in the office whenneeded/depending on the engagement). – Able to travel as requiredbased on engagements. – Minimum 1-2+ years of professional workexperience. – Able to perform ad-hoc analysis in real time usingT-SQL queries. – Experience developing complex functions and storedprocedures. – Familiar with designing and working with databaseobjects including tables, relationships, constraints, triggers andviews. – In-depth knowledge of standard concepts, practices andprocedures related to database management. – Ability toindependently analyze and gather insights from data in real time. -Knowledge of statistical methods & scripting (SQL, Snowflake orRedshift); Python or R, PowerShell a plus. – Experience withvisualization of data including Tibco Spotfire, Tableau, R,PowerPivot, PowerBI, Excel and others. – Processes to transform andload various structured data formats. – Bachelor’s degree from anaccredited college/university. – Fluency in Microsoft SQL Server. -Experience analyzing and visualizing data. – Intellectual curiosityand the ability to ask probing, thoughtful questions and examinedata from all angles/perspectives. – Able to manage severalprojects simultaneously and autonomously. – Strong conceptual aswell as quantitative and qualitative analytical skills. What WouldBe Nice To Have: – Experience within financial services orfinancial technology (fintech) industry. – Experience in amanagement consulting/advisory company. – Solid programming skillsrelated to data processing and model building (such as C#, C++,Java, Scala, R and Python) – Understanding of transactions data,e.g. SWIFT, Fedwire, ACH, SEPA. – Experience with software vendorsservicing the financial crimes market. – Experience with datascience, machine learning, and statistics. – Data Loading andTransformation – Experience with developing SSIS packages. -Experience designing ETL processes to transform and load variousstructured data formats. – Previous BSA/AML and Sanctions systemsanalytics experience including creating and reviewing data models;calibrating/tuning BSA/AML and Sanctions systems; developing,reviewing, and validating data/process flows; reviewing supportingdocumentation for thresholds, detection scenario selection andmatching algorithms; and performing tests and reviews of detectionscenario functionality. The annual salary range for this positionis $77,500.00-$155,000.00. Compensation decisions depend on a widerange of factors, including but not limited to skill sets,experience and training, security clearances, licensure andcertifications, and other business and organizational needs.
