This is a new position with adeveloping psychology service at Rosebank House, which provides youthe opportunity to shape the service in an area of professionalinterest.
You will supportthe design, development and implementation of new treatmentdirections to meet the changing needs of the Rosebank population,while enjoying the benefits that come with being part of anestablished and highly regarded regional Psychology network withinElysium.
This is an excitingtime in the south regional psychology services, with an expansionin networking opportunities, professional development and robustaccess to CPD.
You will be linemanaged and supervised by a HCPC Registered Psychologist and willbe part of an inclusive and supportive team of other Psychologists,Trainee Psychologists, Assistant Psychologists and therapy staffacross the region. Interests and experiences in the region includeDBT, CFT, CBT, arson, trauma, sexual and violent offending and riskmanagement.
Whereyou will be working
You’ll be working at Rosebank House in Reading, which isa complex rehabilitation service for men and women with a primarydiagnosis of mental illness. The service provides support forindividuals with schizophrenia including treatment resistant,schizoaffective disorder, depression, anxiety. They may also have asecondary diagnosis including alcohol, drug and substance misuse,behavioural disorders such as compulsive obsessive disorder (OCD),attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), bipolar, panicdisorder and Autism.
You’ll be joiningthis small but established and well-run service, with a supportiveteam that works well together to deliver the best outcomes for theservice users. You’ll also have access to the regional network ofPsychologists, giving you access to and support of like-mindedPsychology professionals.
