Your work will have a direct impact on billions of people around the world – helping unlock financial access to enable the future of money movement.Join Visa: A Network Working for Everyone.Job DescriptionVisa Europe has an exciting opportunity to join the Legal, Ethics & Compliance division as a Senior Manager on the Anti-Bribery (AB), Criminal Finance Act (CFA) and Interchange Fee Regulation (IFR) Team. This role will primarily be responsible for managing and evolving the Financial Crimes compliance programs relating to Associated Persons on a global basis across all Visa entities advising on matters relating to CFA and AB. This includes the review and remediation of CFA risks, investigating compliance incidents, recommending and overseeing implementation of solutions and engaging with regulators as required. The role will also be required to help incorporate the Economic Crime and Corporate Transparency Bill (the ECCT Bill) and the new offence of ‘failure to prevent fraud’ (FTPF) into our program and support on regulatory projects as required. Visa Europe is open to this role being based in another EU location.Responsible for the management and evolution of the CFA compliance program in keeping with the Visa Compliance Risk Management Framework, maintaining and creating policies and procedures as required.Responsible for partnering with other Ethics & Compliance stakeholders, Risk and Legal to develop an Associated Persons Financial Crime framework to create synergies across the various Financial Crimes regulatory requirements as it relates to Associated Persons.Responsible for the creation and integration of a FTPF compliance program into the Associated Persons framework.Responsible for advising on matters relating to CFA including the identification and review of CFA risks in conjunction with Legal and Corporate Tax and making recommendations to senior management on how to mitigate.Responsible for promoting and embedding a culture of compliance with the First Line of Defence.Lead compilation of responses to regulatory requests for information or risk reviews with HMRC regarding CFA and FTPF.Responsible for the development and maintenance of the CFA Risk Assessment and Risk Control Self Assessment (RCSA) and any evolution to an Associated Persons orientated risk assessment and RCSA.Support any regulatory engagement relating to the CFA and FTF (e.g. HMRC annual risk assessment).Responsible for investigating potential compliance incidents arising from CFA program non-compliance.Responsible for supporting relevant regulatory compliance investigations in conjunction with the Business Conduct Office and HR as required.Management and day to day delivery of management information reports working for senior executives and committees.Work with the Audit and Risk teams on and second/third line testing and any remediation activities required.Lead the development and delivery of CFA specific compliance training and communication plans.Day to day management of the CFA mailbox.Responsible for developing effective relationships between the Ethics and Compliance team and other parts of Visa.Support the AB, CFA and IFR with any other activities as requested to support business or regulatory objectives including regulatory projects.This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.Qualifications• Bachelor’s degree or other higher education qualifications required• At least 5 years experience in Financial Crime compliance• Additional European language skills advantageous• Professional Financial Crimes accreditation preferred• Sound knowledge of Criminal Finance Act and Economic Crime and Corporate Transparency Bill (particularly the Corporate Criminal Offences), Anti-Bribery and other relevant European laws• Extensive experience in management of compliance programs and controls (including risk and internal audit functions) within the financial services industry, particularly in payments• Highly analytical and self-motivated, adept at working independently and in team environment covering multiple and varied tasks• Capable of working collaboratively with employees from all levels within the organization• Flexible to work in an environment where needs are continually changing• A proven track record of managing multiple projects in a complex matrix business and operational environments• Intuitive, highly ethical and comfortable to question and challenge when required• Ability to multi-task and able to work with minimal supervision• Excellent analytical and data analysis skills including use of MS Office systems including Word, Access, Visio, Excel (advanced), Power Point, SharePoint and other applications• Excellent and professional written, presentation and communication skillsAdditional InformationVisa is an EEO Employer.
