You’ll help to prepare HINV UK for changes relating to business model, regulatory environment, systems infrastructure and risk appetite as a Tier 1 Bank.Working within the friendly and supportive HINV culture, a passion for Risk within the Financial Crime Compliance space will be invaluable as we enhance our Risk Management Framework in close cooperation with the HSBC Group.You will have excellent exposure to the other Financial Crime Senior Managers and the MLRO, and have the benefit of HINV’s dynamic culture and access to the wider workings of the Global HSBC Group.As part of the second line of defence, you will look to leverage opportunities to support internal business partners through robust guidance, support and oversight, working closely with all pillars in the UK Financial Crime division across all financial crime disciplines.What will you be doing?Success within the role will ensure that HINV UK complies with all applicable regulations and guidelines in relation to fraud and financial crime and is well-placed to adapt to a rapidly changing internal and external environment. This will involve:Contributing to the development of the HINV Risk Management Framework from a Financial Crime perspective.Supporting key workstreams relating to product risk assessment, technology and systems development and regulatory change.Contributing to the development and maturity of the financial crime systems and controls environment through contributions to policy/procedure development to ensure the firm remains compliant whilst aligning to a risk-based approach.Planning and conducting risk assessments relating to a range of financial crime typologies.Liaising with internal audit and assisting the MLRO to deliver efficient preparation and resolution of any audit requirements.Utilising the risk assessment outputs to support strategic discussions relating to financial crime and fraud risk and controls.Supporting the delivery of an effective risk culture across 1LoD and 2LoD lines of defence.Building and maintaining subject-matter expertise in relation to financial crime red-flags in the innovation economy.Setting a tone and fostering a culture which rewards doing things the right way, in accordance with all applicable laws and regulations and any policies, procedures or processes that HINV puts in place to meet these.#J-18808-Ljbffr
