NATURE OF WORK
Under administrative direction, this job classification involves specialized and technically skilled work. Â Position is responsible for conducting comprehensive background investigations in order to determine the moral character and eligibility of potential law enforcement and civilian applicants for the City of Sunrise Police Department. Â Â
An employee in this classification is responsible for investigating and reviewing pertinent pre-employment background information including but not limited to employment and criminal history, driving records and references to determine applicants’ eligibility and suitability for selection and hire by the Police Department.
