We are currently recruiting for an Agency HR Consultant II to function as the Classification, Compensation and Recruitment Supervisor. Â This position is responsible for the leadership of the Recruitment/Salary Administration Team in addition to conducting classification and salary adjustment analyses based on requests from management. The Supervisor will ensure the hiring of qualified employees to meet the business needs of Central Regional Hospital, Whitaker PRTF, and Wright School. Job responsibilities include the following:
- Establish work standards, priorities, and deadlines
- Manage the workflow of the recruitment/salary administration team in an efficient manner
- Consult with team on issues for which there is no clear guidance or further policy interpretation is required
- Conduct job analysis for reallocation requests and prepare the reallocation package.
- Prepare temporary and permanent in-range salary adjustment packages.Â
- Collaborate with HR leadership on strategy and vision for best practices around recruitment, salary administration, and classification
- Ensure payroll actions are processed in a timely manner
- Prepare various reports
This is a full-time position and eligible for the full State benefits package including health insurance and retirement. Â The normal working hours are Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.; however, flexibility is required to meet hospital needs.Â

The hospital has an ECT service and a robust primary care service for the in-patients it serves. CRH is a training site for the Duke University and University of North Carolina Psychiatric Residency programs and is involved in training and internships involving multiple professional disciplines.
